On our last full day, we went to Xplor park which was across the highway from our resort. It was here that I got to cross off a bucket list item:
#36 – Zipline
The park is set within the jungle but also underground. When we arrived we were given helmets to wear the whole day, a locker key, and a wristband to hold the locker key. Everything is situated around the “heart” of the park…each activity begins and ends in the same central location…and there was a giant heart sculpture there. There was also a heartbeat that you’d hear as you neared it. We went to the ziplining first. They had two zipline sections…we did the first one and within that section got to zipline a total of 10 times. I found it pretty relaxing, you just sit down and hang on as you glide over the tops of the trees. The last zipline ends with you being dunked in the water.
After that we were soaking wet so we went to do the cave swimming & after that went through a different area on a raft. We saw a couple of bats in there too which was cool.
All of the walkways looked like this:
After spending time in the water and having a buffet lunch, we headed to the off road vehicles. That was really cool, we drove through forest, caves, under a waterfall, and over a suspension bridge. After that it was time to go back! The park only has 4 activities but they take up the whole day.
