I needed a new way to display my beach treasures in my home. My first idea was to fill a bottle that had the location glass-etched onto it…which initially looked great; until I put stuff inside and the letters weren’t visible anymore. I tried a rub-on metallic paint sort of product which didn’t stick well enough. Then I tried a different bottle shape and the new glass was somehow etch-proof. I decided to put the location name on with a label maker, onto the inside of the bottle cap; except…the label doesn’t stick and neither elmers glue or hot glue hold it. My current dilemma is getting these things to stick…the next thing is to try super glue.
I got the bottles from Hobby Lobby and they come in all different sizes.
